The climate crisis - or sometimes climate change - is what it is all about. The term climate crisis describes the current emergency situation in which many aspects of our planet are victims to fast environmental changes due to human activities. Climate change is a long-term change in the average weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. These changes have a broad range of observed effects that are synonymous with the term. Many of these effects are challenging our ecosystems and livelihoods by interrupting the interplay and composition of natural processes we depend on. One of the most threatening changes is the change of temperatures around the globe, resulting in destructive consequences. The climate crisis is not mainly threatening our nature and planet but our own livelihood. Therefore, climate action is more important than ever.
